Take part in a transformative one-day hiking challenge in San Diego to support the work of The White Rainbow Project. Through our initiatives, we create opportunities that provide widows and at-risk women in India with the skills, resources, and support they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
Hike for Hope offers a unique opportunity to bring women together to raise awareness and funds for this vital mission. Each participant will have a fundraising goal of $2000 to support our centers, which employ marginalized widows and at-risk women while addressing their medical, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs. The event includes three hike options to accommodate various skill levels, guided prayer time, and a celebration dinner featuring updates from India. It promises an inspiring day of connection, learning, laughter, and most importantly, HOPE.
Our adventure takes place at Mt. Woodson in northern San Diego County, one of Southern California’s most iconic trails. With breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Potato Chip Rock at the summit, this hike offers the perfect setting for unforgettable photos and lasting memories.
Hike for Hope is more than a physical challenge; it strengthens our faith, passion, and community while combating the debilitating stigma of widowhood in India. By addressing these stigmas, we also contribute to breaking cycles of poverty, sex trafficking, and unemployment. We hike for hope because we believe that prayer, worship, and action can move mountains. Join us in this mission to empower women and bring lasting change—one step at a time.
